Back: CELEBRATING DORY - On November 3rd, 2019 a science teacher and fisherman named Bryant Fritz found Dory locked in a crate and submerged in the cold waters of Kaufman Lake in Champaign, IL. He waded into the water, pulled her out and rushed her to the emergency room at the University of Illinois Vet Med. Despite her body temperature being too low to even register, Dory kept swimming and survived. Her incredible story went viral on news outlets and millions learned that Dory would be adopted by Bryant and his new fiance Krystal on the Ellen show a few weeks after the rescue. Dory plans to use her story to raise awareness and funds for rescue groups and shelters. All proceeds from this card will go towards that cause.
